Most likely, since The Republicans are losing in the polls and most likely losing elections, so they have to strike terror into the hearts of Americans and then convince everyone they (not the Dems) are the only ones who can protect us.

US Government? No, except for the terrorism of the illegal alien invasion, the US government politicians are allowing it to continue unabated.

If terrorism comes within 6mos.it could possibly be a staged demonstration showing how great the cons can handle terror.

if any terrorism happens in the next 6 years, it's probably being allowed to happen by the US government on one level or another.
you can't just start wars without lying to the public about how they are being attacked.

Not likely. Unless there are anti-Bush folks trying to show that Democrats must be elected to protect us. That is probably why they've been interfering with the terrorist detection operations.
