Try both, you dont have to stick to one brand. If we all wore the same things all our lives then all the fashion designers would be out of work. And plus, theyre both around the same area of fashion prep and surf, they kind of compliment each other, RL polos go with A&F jeans and flip flops. I'm sure you can incorporate both brands in your life.

I would say Ralph Lauren. There are too many people wearing Abercrombie. Plus, I own a lot of Ralph Lauren apparel - polos, jackets, shirts, hats, belts, etc. I like their style since I have adopted the preppy lifestyle.

Abercrombie clothes are disgustly cheap meaning price & quality.
At least Ralph Lauren stores have better customer service, clothes are brought to you.

Goodwill. They have got Raplh, Abercromie, and possibly some REALLY old Navy, Army, Air Force, Marines, and if you live near water Coast Guard, and the stuff is Stupid Cheap!!
