To be truthful, I don't think anyone really hates me. That is me as a living, sleeping, eating, breathing, tax paying person. I think some people have uninformed opinions. I think some people are scared of me because I am one of those soap box standing lesbians that will not be shoved back into the closet. My soul is saved so I have no use for the ranting bible thumpers. My body is safe so I have no need for a "man" to protect me. My mind is developed so I have no use for lecture. I am a very grown woman who doesn't have to ask "Is this alright?". I am who I am. I love who I love. No, I don't think some people hate me. I think I scare the crap out of them.

Bible-thumpers are not actual Christians. Even the Bible condemns people who bypass to church on Sunday and think of that's adequate to get into heaven. The Bible says God will tell them He by no ability knew them. The Bible recognizes that each and one and all are unsuitable. Warring over faith isn't the message of any non secular text cloth. human beings warp and misconstrue faith for his or her very own very own earnings. Atheists at the instant are not outcasts. and non secular human beings act on their very own kindness too.

I agree so. it isn't the fact that we want it to be that way, but its something that comes in their minds. The society is putting us away. and the only way we can get in is by acting like a perfect straight. Why can't we just be ourselves and put this ''uncomfortable'' issue away. Let us breathe like a normal human, not a homo or a straight..

Hi, I'm straight but I've never hated people who aren't. Some of my best friends have been from the 'opposite persuasion.' Although I don't agree on the religious level, I would never shun someone for their personal beliefs or lifestyle choices.

I know and they don't know when I was young it was that feeling of being hated that makes a person want to either end it or live in the closet for the rest of their lifes. Hate is not normal.

I do not believe that all people hate us. Even the religious merely quote the Bible and would like to change us somehow. The true haters are like my darling Gwenneth's family.
When we purchased a home and moved in, they became horrid. Years later Gwen, myself and other workers were told to take our long leave,. Gwen said to take mine as she was "Feeling tired".
We planned my trip and the last thing she asked for was "lots of lovely photos'
I had a wonderful time but on return, learned that she had died of a virulent cancer. Her family had claimed her remains and buried them in their "church's" private plot. I visited the grave as soon as i was able but was confronted by a relative who warned me to stay away. "Lesbian, no lessthannothing" she shouted. I pushed her away so that I could read the headstone. A date of birth and "UNKNOWN TO GOD". I could not believe it and was about to deliver a severe blow when a vision of Gwen facing down her family on one occasion helped me walked away. Guilt and festering hatred finally caused a breakdown, I cannot forgive them, nor myself
Hatred begets hatred. Pray or meditate for me. I am like the "Ancient Mariner " whose prayer became a wicked whisper.
In sorrow, Rose P.

Well, I'm not gay, but I think you're great! I can't wait until society climbs out of the big hole the bible dug for them, pulls their collective heads out of their azzes, and just loves everyone, thats all God wants, she does it, and it works for her. Besides, who has the gaul to think God would hate any thing or any one that he created, he does not and has not made any mistakes.

Have you ever considered that maybe it's no one's business what you have to do to reach orgasm??? No one wants to know if you're gay. I think for some people, being gay is more of a political cause than about sex. It's no one's bussiness what you are, so don't tell them. Gays say what two people do in the privacy of their bedroom is their own business. Fine, then don't tell everyone.

My best friend is gay, and while I personally think homosexuality is a sin, I don't hate him for it.
