I like www.writing.com for a variety of types of writing. They have all genres, styles, etc. There's quite a bit of fantasy and sci-fi, and you can post your own stories, poems, and articles if you feel so inclined!

Not really. What you need to do is get involved in a writing class so that you can write and then share your stores, or a writing club. Don't waste your time with on line sites, get involved with your school newspaper, or as I said, take a writing course or join a writing club.

the only place I know is called www.gather.com
You join for free, publish your work, (articles, stories, photos, artwork) and other people will read and leave you comments.
Also, you earn either gift cards or cash, depending on the quantity of things you publish, the people you connect with, the comments you leave and receive, etc.
