my horse just died 3 days ago and i drug him all the way across the desert there. Mind if i bury 'im in your back yard. and could i get a drink of water?

What you did is environmentally unfriendly. But if we think about it, in the wild how many animals actually are buried when they die? They're not. They're allowed to decompose naturally and perhaps eaten by other animals,isn’t it?
But if it was buried in the backyard, it's also a health hazard. It's extremely bad to bury animals around any place that relies on ground water.
You must then had buried it in pet cemetery perhaps or had it cremated but could had cost you some amount. Anyway I pity your horse that upon its death it didn’t deserved to be buried at least. Moreover I am sorry over your loss with your horse.
