Am I being old fashioned when I say.... WHAT the hell are young girls thinking burping and farting in front of people? I mean... don't guys mind that?

If that makes you old fashioned, then I guess I'll join the club. People in general don't learn what used to be called common curtesies. That is why you see women doing in public what used to be something that guys only did around other guys.

No. Saying what the hell is very innapropriate outside of the household, therefore making you not old fashioned, and unless you're taking a girl out on a serious date, you will need to relax and accept the fact that it's a natural process of life. Some of my Indian and Asian friends have told me that in thier regions it is perfectly fine to burp, fart, or even put their elbows on the table, and not get any looks at all.
Let go your social norms. Let go your gas. Be one with a more open society as we learn to accept normal functions of healthy living.
Plus if she can burp and fart whenever, then why can't you?

lol. I burp to turn off guys who are coming on too strong...works every time. Or if I don't think he's attractive and coming on too strong. I don't fart in public, period. And if I burp on accident, then I say excuse me very quickly and act humiliated. Of course, when my little brother wants I burp the alphabet....he doesn't count as being in public.

it is not funny at all. it is nasty. even for the guys burbing front of the girl. farting is okay by guys.

i guess it depends on who the girl is with. if she's with her friends that's fine coz they would all laugh at her. but if she's trying to impress a guy then that would be a major turn-off
