What is a good Free MMORPG out there for the PC? I've tried RuneScape and Knight Online and didnt like either of them. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Shadowbane is now free. It may or may not be to your tastes as it appeals mostly to a niche market of hardcore pvp. Download the free trial, and give it a whirl. Billing has been suspended, most likely permanently.
Silk Road Online has had a significant following, not sure about the current state of the game though.

you might try gothador or one of the other games done by hunted cow productions
