I have a problem and I need some useful answers. I am literally sick and heartbroken over being in love with someone who I've never even been with.I'm having medical issues due to wrong medications and it's effecting me and the depression I am in due to this situation. What can I do to feel better about this issue, just for myself so I can go on with a life that is productive and makes me feel like I am wanted and needed instead of rejected and useless???? I am already seeing a professional for this and they
can't find a medication that doesn't have negative side effects for me. So how can I get better?????

I have found that prayer and positive notes to myself often help. I know how hard it can be to feel useless. But just remind yourself that God put you on the earth for a reason,, and if you are still here, you haven't finished your contribution to the world yet. Smile once for me and know that there people (even strangers) out here that care!!!

If this relationship was supposed to happen, it would have. You are sick because you are hanging on to thoughts and feelings from the past and not living in the present. You probably don't need another pill, but I would recommend a good psychiatrist or psychoanalyst to talk things our with. Try to join a group or club that centers around an activity or hobby you enjoy. You could even pick something you have never done, but always wanted to try. You will be getting out and getting fresh air and meeting new people. That alone can be invigorating. Begin an exercise routine for a few minutes each day. This can help release the endorphins in your system, which improve our moods naturally. Best wishes.

you do not give much info. are you male or female-does the person you are infatuated with have any idea that you feel this way? do they even live in your city? another thing you should know is that all medications have some side effects. try to contact this person and let them know that you would like to get to know them in a freindly way. good luck and god bless.

I know, depression is one of the hardest things to get through! You probably don't want to hear this, but being depressed is really just all in your head. YOU have to search inside yourself to find out WHY you are depressed and then YOU have to fix it. NO ONE can read your thoughts and emotions, only you. And don't get mad if it doesn't happen right away.

Medication isn't going to fix your problem. Change your doctor to one who will actually treat you instead of putting a medication bandaid over your problems.

You need Jesus, not another pill. Oh and try to get some sun, that is good for depression.
