You need to drink lots of water and eat foods which are full of Vitamins A, C and E. Adequate rest is also needed.

The food we consume also has a bearing on the way our skin looks. Foods containing greasy, oily and fatty substances make the oil glands overactive and therefore we are more likely to face various skin problems. Water is a very good as it cleanses the skin pores. It fights against all the toxins in the body. Therefore it is necessary to consume 8-10 glasses of water per day.

I see a dermatologist she prescribed Clindagel which is a topical gel (anti-biotic). She also prescribed RETIN - A which it will help to peel the top layer of your skin in a sensitive manner though for some people it will cause minor peeling and redness for a few days. I use it on a Friday night so by Monday morning the peeling has ended and my new dew fresh layer appears. Also, dermatologist recommended I used a cleanser or soap that is non-comedegenic. Such as CETAPHIL or Avenoo cleansers. I use CETAPHIL anti-bacterial soap in the blue box it contains Tricoslan which is an anti bacterial agent. I cleanse in the morning and before I sleep at night with it. If it is spots that you are wanting to rid yourself of try Hydroquinone. Or Clear Essence care line. Here's a great site to get more info http://www.skincarephysicians.com/acnenet/index.html

also I use Clear ESSENCE product which are formulated for people of color.

Sleep before or at 12 everyday, sleep for 8 hours (atleast), drink 2 or 3 cups of water, don't watch tv or look at your computer for 2 hours consecutivly (it tires your eyes out, thus giving you eye bags(not beautiful, is it?)), have a balanced diet (meat, vegetables, fruits and what not). excercise.

Yep, that's the jist of it. Unless you have some sort of hereditary gene which disallows you to have beatiful skin.

I use ONLY "Dove" soap,, for sensitive skin,, and for my moisturizer,, I use "Dermarest Medicated Moisturizer"
It has the silylic acid in it and inproves the tone of your skin. Now I don't have Psoriasis,, but it does help maybe dry patches,, and keeps oil under control and evens skin tone. It may tingle with your first few uses of it, but it passes.

It all depends on how healthy your diet is. Drink lots of fresh juice and eat lots of fresh fruit and veggies. I heard pomegranate juice in the morning is the best.
