I think also it is Belgium. The Germans, French, Holland, Spaniards, Austrians, English, Americans have all created some battlefield in Belgium.

About most of the battle that occured in France, this is incorrect : mostly the French fought in other countries (f.e. Napoleons war where fought in Germany, Italy, Egypt, Austria, Spain, Belgium (Waterloo) but few in France).
Even in WW1 some famous battles where fought in Belgium (Liege, Battle of the frontiers, Ypres, Passchendaele, ...)

well i think it is france - most battles of both world wars took place in france. france was the place where the western front was. wars that took place even before the world wars mostly took place in france - during napolean.
