There are two solutions. Religious and political.
Religious give Israel exactly the area designated in the Torah as belonging to the tribe of Judah.
Political give citizenship to all residents of occupied territories. Within 24 hours, they won't be occuppied any longer.

Firstly leave the USA out of the peace process....secondly....Arab terrorists should be banned and disarmed by the arabs themselves as a jesture of peace. The Israelis should stop all military confrontation with arabs..... More people to people contact should be encouraged and the Israeli government and the Palestinians should show flexibility in dealing with each other.... IF they don't find a solution one day....then they should talk the next day and day after till a solution is acceptable to both the parties...!

According to the lyrics, they are saying that rock music can "degenerate the faithful with that crazy casbah sound". So they are saying that rock music will create peace. It's a really far fetched idea. I don't think it's going to work. Actually part of the reason the Islamic terrorists do what they do is because they don't like Western culture, music, porn, infiltrating thier society.
And in reality, western culture may eventually wipe out thier extremely old fasioned culture, and replace it with a westernized version of Islam (liberal Islam). So maybe the Clash are right, that eventually there will be peace, but I doubt it. I think we are on the verge of World War III.

Hey, dseid613, what would you call the people who were forced to evacuate their homes when Israel took over the territory? What exactly would you say to their faces? You idiot, we are talking about human lives here, not land. There are people dying for bullshit reasons. We can start the process of healing when we stop sending Israel over $3,000,000,000 (look long and hard at that number) a year... and start negotiating with a fair hand. before 1967 jordan controlled the west bank, and egypt controlled gaza. in 1967 these countries launched attacks of war on israel. israel beat them and pushed their troops out of these areas. poof, no more arab controll.. israel took it fair and sqUARE. and then in 1979 egypt and jordan droped their claim on the land. meaning they didnt want it anymore. they gave it to israel. so now nowhere in that history do i see a country called palestine or a palestinian people. it was a term created by the terrorists who want to destroy israel. if u really wana give back the land to its owners give it to jordan or egypt. but oh i forgot they dont want it anymore... so it belongs to israel. not some made up palestinian people.
