No the rest are smart enough to realize you just can not pick up and walk out of a war without repercussions.
Newtons third law works in politics as well. For every action there is an opposite and equal reaction.

I thought most are in favor of a deadline... I think a immediate pullout may be a little premature, but a timetable is what most people really want...
some goals and a plan... the extremes of pulling out immediately or not having any real timetable and apparently no plan are not what most want...

Unlike Murtha, they are spineless and not willing to put their political careers on the line to back their own conscience. At least the conservatives are voting their beliefs.
My party will not be respected until it stops testing the wind before making a stand. And really, what man/woman can ever be respected who does that?

most are asking for Rumsfelds dismissal. At least that's something. he's a primary reason for the war. i think most believe pulling out immediatly would be a bad decision on the world political stage. a more gradual abandonment would save face, somewhat.

Maybe they realize what a mistake that would be and don't want to be blamed for the consequences. Essentially, Iraq would turn into what Afghanistan was during the 1990s.

no,, many others agree,,,, it's an impossible situation that Bush has gotten our troops into,,,, with a little finesse and intelligence I believe that cut and run wouldn't have to be an option, but a strategy to slowly redeploying to see if the Sunnis and Shites keep killing each other ,, what do the US have to lose by thinking in terms of being smarter,,,,

The just are being careful because the Bush administration will label them as traitors. They should step up and speak their hearts and minds.

Do you mean Murtha?
Hes a traitor. Walk up to any Marine and tell them that you LOVE Murtha. Tell them that you agree with everything Murtha says about our military. After you do that, write me back and tell me how it went for ya.
