Ok, I know there are going to be a lot of jokes about this..but I live on a farm and this does really work. Human Urine. "Place" human urine around the areas, and repeat often. This will work for more than your skunks.

For SKunks you might honestly want to call in professional help because of the smell issues.

We had a few that kept wandering into our yard as they wandered toward a nieghbor's house that left food scraps out.

Our solution was given to us by a HomeDepot employee and I was stunned on how well it worked to KEEP the Skunks off our lawn where the dog might spot it from inside and spook the creature into a not so fragant response.

Once you rid the animals from the hiding spot you can place moth balls all around your pool or deck to keep the animals from seeking shelter. Make sure after days of heavy rain or 25-20 days you drop or spread more to keep them away. A box cost around 2.50 so it an extremely cost effective solution and a little moth ball smell is much nicer then the alternative.

For those of you with pets no worries dogs and cats both seemed to sniff and walk away without any attempts to ingest these smelly white balls on the lawn.

I'm not sure this works but, try moth balls. I heard that they don't like the smell of moth balls. Spread the moth balls around the area and the skunks will leave.I wouldn't throw them at the skunks!
