It wasn't Hate Me Now, although that was a very good song. I know what you are talking about, but I just can't remember the title.
I just looked it up - it was called "Ether".
Jay-Z retaliated with a song called "Super Ugly" - in which he talked about screwing the mother of Nas' baby. It was really ugly. He got a lot of flak for it, and that pretty much ended their fued.
