That is very common and I bet almost everyone has had one or more of them removed.
When I took an anatomy course they explained that wisdom teeth problems come when teeth size and jaw size don't match so unless your parents both are matched on those characteristics you are not going to have everything be perfect. The locations most likely to have grief are the wisdom teeth.

i have had two wisdom teeth removed. This was done with an injection to the gum; and they were both taken out in an instant. I recovered and was eating normally after just 1 day.

I have had 1 taken out because it was impacted. I have 2 that came in normally and 1 that isnt doing anything. I see it in x rays but its not in.

I do. I removed all 4 of them at once. It wasn't a bad experience since I was anesthetized. I couldn't eat anything for about a week tough but it healed pretty fast.

Me! I had all four out at the same time and they were all impacted, not cool. But the good thing is my mouth is less crowed now!
