Michael Jackson has by admission altered his voice to suit what he feels brings out his top peak vocal dynamic sound. And his efforts weren't that bad.....in the beginning. However, his SPOKEN voice tone has been altered to sound femmine--and most likely is irrepairable.
I venture to guess in a few more years, MJ's voice will "age" with little or anything he can do to preserve it; it's very likely MJ will eventually have no course but to either retire from singing---or "Milli Vanilli" lip-sync his recordings on stage.

Yes his voice is really that way! Not all men have deep masculine voices! His voice is unique and beautiful! That's why he's such a good singer!

michael jacksons voice is doctored on the albums with all types of fx over his voice to make him sound better clearer, some fx would be compressor , reverb, delay and chorus
