At 5 foot 5 inches, the shortest NBA player is Earl Boykins of the Denver Nuggets. The shortest of the shorties though was Tyrone "Muggsy" Bogues at 5 foot 3 inches, and he spent most of his 14 season career with the Charlotte (now New Orleans) Hornets.

earl boykins is the shortest now at 5'5. in the past mugsy bogues was the shortest at 5'3!(i think)and i heard rumors that mugsy could grab rim and earl could dunk!
