You have to take time for yourself. Do nice things for yourself such as buy new clothes, get a new haircut, try new makeup (if your a girl), cologne, or perfume. Also, focus on things that you like to do.

I find that the best way to develop self confidence is to try and see yourself through the eyes of others. Now you haven't impressed some people with this question, but it is a matter of perspective. And I myself think it is a very valid question, perhaps better asked somewhere else, but I'll humor you.

I guess we can look at a typical guy scenario when you want to ask a girl out. What do you fear most? Rejection, it's a no brainer, you think: "If I wait longer, she might get to like me a little more, therefore, my chances would be greater. And what if she rejects me? She'll tell everyone I asked her out and I'll be ruined!"

Take a look at it from her perspective. If you are a loser, do you think she'll brag about turning you down? If she does, how long will people talk about it? I think I would be able to survive the 15 minutes they would talk about it before some new big thing comes in and makes it yesterday's news. If you ask and she says no, chances are she never would have said yes. And only the worst people will spread rumors about someone who they don't even hardly know. If you don't ask, you'll never stand a chance.

I suppose that was kinda off topic for self confidence, but there are so many people out there that let their lack of perspective do them in. The key to understanding yourself (and gaining self confidence) is to see yourself through other people's eyes.

At least, that's how I see it... :p

Hello friend.

Achievement - accomplishment - in any field causes your self-confidence t grow in that area and with more self-confidence you'll achieve more and so on.
You have to do fthat first fthing, though, so that you can get better at it and develop more self-confidence, which will spur you to do it more and better and bolster your self-confidence.Don't be timid or afraid to at least try new things or to "go for it all" in fthe area you're best at or like the most.
Yours,
JB :)

When you feel a sense of accomplishment at something ie. excel at your job, do well at school, be a good friend, etc. you usually end up feeling good about yourself. Having a purpose in life creates self-confidence.

By repeatedly doing things on which you are supposed perform. By thinking constantly about the task you are supposed to do and equipping yourself to meet the challenges. Start from the scratches. All big warriors are punies in the beginning. What one fool can do another can.
