Well I never heard of the doors, so I think the Beach boys is better.

Beach Boys are definitely lighter and fun, the Doors are awesome, but can be a little depressing.

I would go for the Beach Boys. I have been listening to them since childhood and I think that they are the best. And till now I never get bored listening to them.

the doors were a far more expressive and all around more talented group than "the boys". brian was the creative genious that could have surrounded himself with anyone to create music. the doors were a "mind-meld" of musical and rythmic energy that held more emotion in one song than some bands could compile in a career.
but hey! what do i know...i'm just a bass player.

thats hard your talking about two different types of music personally I love both but if I had to choose I would say Beach Boys
