Like this one http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ring_galaxy It just doesnt seem natural at all I guess there is always a chance of a galaxy getting into this shape naturaly but I sure wouldnt be amazed if there was intelligent design behind it. Any thoughts?

Actually, rings, or circular and spherical shaped objects appear quite often in nature. For example, rings of saturn and the asteorid belt are rings; craters and spiral galaxies are circular, stars and planets are spherical. So rings are easitly explained.

Now if we were to find a galaxy in the shape of a cube, then I would be the first to jump up and say, Aliens! Borg Invasion! Run for your lives!

PS - we are on a collision course with the Andromeda Galaxy. Unfortunately, it won't happen for another several hundred million years at least.

A ring galaxy is formed when two galaxies collide head on. The different shapes of all the galaxies depend on the angles of these collisions. I think there is life elsewhere, and possibly intelligent, but ring galaxies are not their signature.

No. This is not the sign of intelligence.

The aesthetics is nice but something this large can be explained only by natural forces.

Ring galaxies can be explained with what we know of gravity.

(you do have to throw the assumption of dark matter in there, but let's ignore that for a sec)

There is no way that Earth is the only planet with intelligent life forms.

They are not signs of life, intelligent or otherwise. Ring nebulae (they are not galaxies -- totally different thing) are created by a supernova explosion.
