I know a guy from my high school class who seems really nice. We have a lot of things in common: good grades, sports, no drugs, and generally good people. I would like to be friends with him, because i know that we would get along great!

Thing is, sex and dating is SO overrated that i just don't know if i can talk to him more without him getting ideas. I don't really like him as much more than a friend, even though he is cute. :P

Thanks!

Get to know him and stop worrying too much about your values! What's to stop you from making your values known to him and watch his reaction? If he insists on sex even after your views, then he doesn't respect you as a partner.
Start off as friends and not as a couple. If he cools off after knowing your values regarding sex, then you know what he's after, right? Then it is up to you. You are the master of your destiny!
