i just inheirted a budweiser acoustic guitar but one of the strings is broken. it came out of the end with the tunning nobs but i cant get the other end out. what should i do? message if you want more info.

when i say stranger i mean that all i know is that it is a acoustic guitar and that you play the strings by stroking them!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You must remove the "bridge pin" to get the string out. There is a tool for this called a "bridge pin puller." Pick one up at a guitar shop. Cheap.

Just to add, those string winder things you can buy, have a ball end puller in the one side that goes on the tuning peg. Some one also make a whole guitar tool kit that has all kinds of cool lil tools for guitar maintainence.

If its threaded with a stop ring in a hole at the end (push out backwards.)
If it uses pegs they pull up with a little work.
If it uses a hidden clamp device then open the cover and release the string.

well, get a long nose u know that tool buy from hardware store we have here one in phils...then loosen the pegs, then pull the strings....
