I have a 1990 ford lincoln towncar and one night I noticed my engine was humming, I then found out that it wouldnt shift into over drive. it acts like it has one last gear to hit but just wont go into the last gear. I have also noticed that my gas mileage sucks real bad now. I have had my trans. serviced, changed th oil and then I thought I may have a cracked head or gasket. So if someone thinks that they can help me please do it will be greatly apreciated.
