Do not get them on the internet. I made that mistake before. Purchase the calling card when you get to Jamaica .Most calling cards that you purchase here will not work out of Jamaica, It is better for you to purchase there. Or use rent-a-cell option.Many cell phone companys also offer international plans.

I use one called purplecard to dial internationally but from the US to other countries.... Check out uniontelecard.com, they might do special cards from Jamaica to the US.
