lol, I was wondering when I would see a "question" about pluto.
If they call pluto a planet, then they will have to call all the large rocks in the Kuiper belt planets also. So we are downgraded to an 8 planet solar system now...it sucks.

It hasn't been neglected, its still there! It has only been renamed a dwarf planet because they have found bigger objects further out than Pluto and they had a choice to add planets or clearly define what makes planet and Pluto didn't meet the criteria. It also has strange shaped orbit and too much debris around its orbit.

maybe pluto is too distant to be a planet. obviously
