Well, let's see.... I don't think it would be a hostage situation since each personality is only a part of the whole, although that is an interesting idea. Really, each part is holding every other part hostage in a way isn't it? Nobody is really free from the others. And as for mass murder, I disagree because each part makes up one whole so maybe it's murder, but not mass murder per se.

No it would not be a hostage situation. Actually, it isn't about having more than one personality or being more than one person. That is is whi the name of the disorder is changed to D. I. D.

Steven Wright is a great comic who asked one time " why is the alphabet in that order, is it because of that song?"
He was in the train scene in "Ghost"
I see how you got your name

That's a classic.

And if he failed and was officially charged, you could just get one other person with multiple personality disorder to be the jury.

Listen. I know I'm in there. If I don't come out in 60 seconds with my hands up, I'm going in after me.

The question you should be asking is if they DON'T go through with it will the others be susceptible to Stockholm syndrome?

that is a sick, twisted and offensive question!!! I'm assuming you don't actually know anyone with MPD do you? because if you did you would have more consideration! just so you know why I'm offended... My mum has it! (I'm only 17 and I can't live with her because of it! It doesn't just affect the person who has it, it effects the people around them, the people who love them!!!)
