Hi, Fixerkeith,
Good question.
There is a theory called the butterfly effect, where if you went back far enough and stepped on a butterfly, which would have otherwise flown off and been eaten by a bird to survive, which would have been eaten by a small cat to survive, only to be eaten by a bigger animal etc. etc. until a human ends up missing a vital meal and dying of starvation, that the person could have been at the top of,say,Hitlers family tree.
Hence Hitler not being born because of your clumsy feet.
It's a theory, but do PLEASE watch where you're walking today......
Best wishes,
Misterviv

No. The reason is there would be no reason to travel back in time unless you choose to restart from there on and not come back.

That is a much bigger question than it seems - and one physicists spend a lot of time asking themselves. There's no real consensus of opinion yet.
And why would you want someone to go back in time to feed your goldfish? Did you forget and kill them or something.
