Yes he should be, because it would be nice if he could retire where he started. And anyways, he is British.

David Beckham has been living on his reputation ever since his performance against Greece.Since he has been dropped England have started to play with freedom and confidence. At the World Cup he contributed 2 free kicks five games, that was it.He cant tackle,he cant beat a man for pace and he cant head the ball anymore.Gerrard has been excellent on the right and Beckham cannot be brought back for sentimental reasons. He was a great player but that time is gone, we know have width and all i see is a brighter future for England without the Beckham circus.

David Beckham is not the most talented player on the English National Team. There are many other younger talented English players now. But despite that David Beckham should be brought back on the English National team. Beckham provides leadership and experience to the team, which the English team desperately needs. I hope they bring Beckham back, he will make the English team better.

At the moment the Squad are playing very well together. Has anyone thought that it might be a bit difficult for David to come back to the Squad with John now Captain, because things have changed & he might not like it. After all he was Captain for six years, does anyone think he could come back & not criticise John Terry? tikka wind your neck in.

i don't think so. it wouldn't help much for the squad to put someone who should be retiring within the next 3 or so years. that is one place that someone fresh and young could be, getting more experienced to be a great player for england the years to come. i'm not saying backham isn't good, but mcclaren has intentions of putting in a lot of young, talented players to build up within the coming years and make them great.

well i'm not sure. he's past his prime for sure. england will definitely miss his free kicks. but his lack of defense was becoming a liability. and his lack of fitness has become more of an issue too. i think he's still got a few years of quality club football left in him but his international playing days are few in number. perhaps just a few ceremonial gigs so he can get to 100 caps.

That's a definite no. He is slow, cannot tackle, no good with his left foot, cannot dribble and is no good in the air. Otherwise he is not bad!
