If your bike has a wet clutch, maybe never. Follow the makers spec, and change when the bike has done 1000 miles. Only use motorcycle synthetic oil and not car stuff

i just bought a new hog. i was told to always use a synthetic in it to make it hold up and last longer. start with the first oil change at 1000 miles and never never stay at a steady speed more than 1 hour at a time.also dont give it all it has as soon as you take off.

Ask your nearest friendly dealer because some manufacturers intend the original oil to be in for the necessary "break-in period". When you decide to make the switch be certain to use "motorcycle oil" There is a difference in the makeup and motorcycles, even watercooled ones have different stresses and strains than an auto engine.

I don't think there's a point that's to early. There's some thought that you shouln't use a synthetic on a high mileage motor after always using standard oil though

Why no longer choose for a bare or a million/2 faired motorcycle and have the perfect of the two? something like a Honda Hornet / CB600 or Triumph speed Triple in case you have somewhat greater to spend. Cruisers are for comfortable using, jointly as activities motorcycles make you experience on the area.
