For the last 10 months, I get my period and then a week later i get light cramps in my lower stomach and I feel like I'm going to get my period again. Any ideas what this might be?

I'm a 22 virgin . Not on any kind of BC

These cramps may be due to your body getting ready to ovulate.
The Fallopian tubes could be in spasms in order to push the egg into the receiving position or area. Now if there were spotting I'd tell you to go to your OB/GYN for a checkup.

It's called ovalating!. It usually takes place around the 14th day from the first day of your period... if you are on a 28 day cycle! If your cycles are shorter then ovalation would be sooner,like you are experiencing. You should see your doctor to be sure there are no other causes for this,but it really does sound like you're ovalating!

You should go to a GYN doctor and have this checked. It could be pains from ovulation (called Mittelschmerz).

I dated a girl in high school that had terrible painful periods....her gyno put her on birth control....(shortly after we broke up..lucky me)....and it helped her a lot.....talk to your gyno.

You should check with your doctor, I reccomend a pap test, you don't have to have sex to get an infection.
