Wasn't he the guy who invented wireless radio? Only invention of his I'm aware of...sure there are more.

Which one? Tesla was way ahead of his time on many of his theories and inventions. One was even tested on a show called "Mythbusters," which aired on the Discovery Channel over the weekend. It was a device which was supposed to create an earthquake, even though it only weighed about 5 pounds. At first they had no luck, and considered it busted. But then they took it out on a long steel-span bridge. When they hit the same frequency as the bridge, they could feel the vibrations as far as 20 feet away from the machine, even no bigger than it was. It may not have been an earthquake, but it sure shook them up!

Tesla may have been one of the greatest inventors of all time.... He did not like to draw attention to his works and some he never even got patents for..... He worked with Edison for a time and Edison stole some of his stuff.... You need to read a book about him and or check out the net.... I dont think Tesla ever made any false claims I think the invention your talking about had to do with electric current and the earths magnetic field and some great explosion in Siberia Its been so long since I have read about him but it is fascinating reading...... I think he made an enemy of someone like the Vanderbilt's and they brought him to his knees
