PETA - like most organizations has its good points and its bad points. As animals do not have the ability to speak to us, people need to speak on their behalf. We should treat animals, and our food source with dignity and respect, which is what PETA aims to do. However, they go above and beyond the call to duty, and take extremes. They would not have anyone eat meat, which is even contrary to the way the animal kingdom operates. There are whack jobs running all kinds of organizations, PETA just so happens to be one that has more than its fair share.

Here's a question.
What are your veiws on our treatment of animals.
Have you even seen, or are you familiar with, animal farming factories that specialize in suppling massive amounts of various meats to consumer wholesaler packagers? Ever see Mass caging. How about Anchored feet. I'll bet you haven't. And you never will. Oh, you may get to see a Hollywood's version when enough people raise a stink , people like PETA, not people like you or I who sit back and criticize everything and do nothing.
How about animals used to test various cosmetics.
Remember the question? Have you ever seen.? I'll bet you haven't seen and you not familiar with any of it either. I love the terrorist group part, Jesus Christ, what the hells wrong with everybody.
Seems to me their attempting to open closed eyes to animal atrocities. Are they out of hand? I don't know. Has anything changed? Are we treating anything better? Not that I see.
And you never will see.
Next Question. Why not?
These are not even the beginning of the inhuman treatment a live thing is made to endure for someone to make an extra buck.
Your question is what are my thoughts?
It would appear we have no one else doing anything about trying to inject human decentcy into our treatment of helpless, defenseless, living, feeling, breathing things.
Animals do fall into the same living species we do, you know.
We're all animals.
Hitler deemed Jews, Gypsies, Russians and Poles to being little more than a common farm animal and mass killed them by the millions and did it with much less violent methods than we routinely kill our factory lined up,with the smell of death, crying, paniciked, commercially farmed animals.Want to send someone you love to see and experience?. How about you, you want to go?
Tell me, how do you feel about Hitler?
How you think the Jews would have felt if they had a PETA looking to protect them. Obviously no one else did.
How I feel about PETA it is unimportant. If you want to draw an intelligent conclussion take the time to seriously look into their cause without the opinion of an advertisers paid for media's, trying to whitewash industries, so steeped in secrecy.
Good Luck.

I think that is is morally wrong to make any living thing suffer, but the fact that some members of PETA seem to care more about animals than their own species is concerning.

Not a terrorist group, but not right. They cost the economy millions every year, and many of their animal release campaigns end up killing the animals because they can't find food on their own. I may be biased (grew up a farm kid) but that's how I see it.

Penn and Teller did a show exposing PETA. They have been caught adopting puppies and Kittens from adoption agencies and killing them .Dumping the carcuses in dumpsters. They believe we should not have pets at all.And animals are better off dead than being our pets.My pampered pooch would disagree.

I think they are radicals who thrive on terror .Their cause is usually so over-shadowed by their antics ; that even many animal lovers are turned off and tuned out .They behave as though they were a bunch of misfits who had never been in a civilized society .I think they might have more sympathizers if they tried imitating a human being for a change .
