Its normally light brown, and now its jet black. Its the weirdest thing.

Horomone changes I guess...
I wanted to add : To all the people that say shave it off......... do you realize how hard it is to shave your pubic hair when you have a huge pregnant belly blocking you?????? I am 7 months pregnant and I cannot for the life of me get down there!!!! It's not easy with a bowling ball in the way.

During pregnancy I've noticed lots of things will change on the body even hair texture and colors of various body parts...Usually things seem to get darker.

It's not weird at all it is just that if one of your parents has black hair then your hormon changes have triggered a changing of the "gene guards".
Normal changes, and nothing to be alarmed about. Congrates I hope?

during pregnancy there would be a change in hormones for sure.. but its normal don't worry

because of your hair follicle pigmentation.
this is all due to hormones, but will go back to normal after a few months.

when the baby inside poops, it drips out during the night and stains your pubes.
