If you are refering to the Thunderbird application, you can not check your mail from another person's computer via thunderbird ubless you set it up on their computer. Thunderbird downloads your email via POP3.

If you wish to check your email in the meantime, use the web-based email system that your email provider has.

If you can only access your e-mail via POP3 (i.e. no web-based access) you will have to create an email account within Thunderbird (or another email application) to check your mail. I suggest if you need to do this from someone else's computer you check the option "leave mail on server" so you can get that mail again in your own computer when its back up and running.

It relies upon how your e mail is desperate up. while you're utilising webmail, in simple terms bypass to the nicely-known webmail handle you bypass to to verify it always (Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc.). while you're utilising an e mail shopper (Mail, Thunderbird, Eudora, Outlook), it relies upon on how your e mail is configured. If it fairly is IMAP, you may desire to have the potential to verify it utilising webmail (as pronounced above). comparable deal for POP3 in case you have chosen to maintain copies of messages on the server. If, although, you're utilising POP3 and you desperate to get carry of messages to your computing device without leaving copies on the server, then there is not any thank you to verify your e mail from yet another computing device.
