Can you use Singer feet attachments with other machines (such as Brother)?

I have a Brother CS-6000 sewing machine. I have compared the narrow hem feet between the Brother brand and the Singer brand and they look exactly the same. I am wondering if one brand of attachment can be used on another brand of machine.

Yes, most singer parts interchange with other machines, they are pretty standard. Brother makes a very good machine. Have fun.

do check the shank of the foot-- I don't know about Singer and Brother-- but there are differences out there-- as in bobbins, too.
