I put water in my ashtry and it keeps it cleaner and puts cigarettes easyer. Has anyone done this before?

Yep...but not on purpose. The smell of the water mixed with the butts is not very appealing. Try using kitty litter. That works.

If this ashtray were to fall, it would stain your carpet. You can get those square thingies that have the hole in the middle. You put your cigarette through the hole and it goes out because there is no oxygen circulating. I have one in each ashtray of mine.

I use to do that to my parents.. needless to say, they were a bit P.O.ed..
No one smokes in my home now. If you feel the need to have a smoke, you go outside to have one, no matter the weather..

no because when u wet your ashtray and put a cig init it leaves a bad odor try sand

Sounds to me that it would be very messy to put water in it. Are you just too lazy to wash it after you use it?
