ANYPLACE but Walmart!!

Almost said Costco, but changing to Nordstroms--one of the most worker-friendly retailers out there, and if you catch their sales, the prices aren't all that scary.

San Diego local:

Sunday Farmer's market at the Hillcrest DMV. Lately, with food and housewares, they have pretty everything you need to live, and well--and I feel good about the practices of all the vendors.
