in the last week to coincide with Hurricane Katrina, StateFarm Insurance company has been saturating the media with so much about how they helped out Hurricane Katrina victims. I am about disgussted with hearing them pat themselves on their back. Anyone else upset about their ad campaign?

They do seem to be self-congratulatory. I'm not UPSET... I mean, if they really have helped then bully for them, but it is kind of obnoxious and cheap to squawk about it all over the airwaves. It was humane to help, but I guess it's true that no genuine altruism exists.

Yes especially since people in Mississippi are having to sue State Farm to get any payment at all on their property destroyed by Katrina. State Farm are liars and thieves.

Also I know for a fact they are not really paying these claims...if they did they would go out of business. But hey, right is right. Some of those people have been paying premiums for 30 years and their claims were turned down. Something about being covered for hurricanes but not for flooding. This makes no sense.

NO i thank them very much i live in MISSISSIPPI and my house was torn from the strom very badly and i have state farm insurance and they lot to help get my home back in order they did more than i thought they would do...so no i couldnt have thank them for all that they has done

Yes. They should be more humble. Why do they need such advertising to boost them anyway? If they are that great, then people, besides themselves can praise them. That would be the best advertisement of all.
