i've noticed it's almost becoming the norm for kids from 12-13 to loose their virginity. wtf? Sixth-graders, seventh-graders and eighth-graders are having sex. i was 14 when i lost my virginity. i feel so stupid because my freshmen i was one of the few virgins. this was in the beginning of the year. it's almost normal for incoming freshmen in high school to not be virgins.

I see what you mean though. Parents need to get more involved w/ their children. Most parents push things off on others and expect the child to do the rest. There isn't much hands on parenting and it's so very sad. I went to the movies that got out @ 10:00. The whole place was full of 'tweens and twenty somethings. Hardly any parents in sight. Long gone are curfews, punishments and restrictions. It is a new generation.

Wow, loaded question. There can be many reasons, but I think it's the old "peer pressure" is the main one. A lot of kids (yea, kids) feel the need to fit in with their friends at that age, especially if they're transitioning to high school. It seems as though no matter what you do, you'll be made fun of for something by someone. It's tough.

60% of college students enter freshman year as virgins meaning,
not all HS students are doing it.
but based on T.V, influences and of course the all powerful friends ,some teens get pressured into it.

since the only question i see is wtf i must guess that u wish a reason as to why this new generation must lose their virginity so soon?..i can only offer a guess in todays world we as people find that we must grow up very fast, the world is advancing in leaps and bounds unlike a hundred years ago where terrorism was thought to be a foriegn nations problem,, back then it was ok to wait,, they knew they had the time to wait,, these days maybe subconsciously, we all know that a plane could land on us at any given time,, and most want tolive their life beofre it is hienously robbed of them

Virgintiy should and must not be lost. Adultry is a big sin and crime. TheGospel of Baranbas which was banned by devil Paul gives a lotof details about this but since Church is by large follwoing Paul calls it a fabrication howeverd one can still see the name of Gospel of Barnabas among those books which were totally banned as they were exposing the lies of devil Paul! Devil Paul opend the flood gate of people into his new religion and permitted idolatry. and hence we see Roman Cahtolic and statues of Mary etc. Those followers of Jesus who did not believe in the lies of rabid devil Paul were called Unitarian Christians and other who fell pray to Paul were called trinitarion chirstians. Some of the former later accepted Islam e.g. Bosnian Muslims when they read Quran realizing that Muhammad (PBUH ) was the person who was foretold by Jesus who was about to come. whats the question...a lot of people lose their virginity around 14 to 18 ...as long as the kid is knowageable and knows how to protect themself....there are a lot of kids who shouldnt though...but there is no way to stop slutty little girls and overly horny teenage guys

well I don't know...i was really slow at losing mine...I'm now 57 and gay and have been trying to make up for it ever since...but what I do find frightening is that these kids are having sex and then coming on these sites (for example) to find out if what they did is dangerous disease-wise...please find out first.
