I'm no expert, but if you are feeding people who eat meat, you might need more animals.

increased animal production if not now will become a world problem, very shortly, contrary to some peoples therory plants will not give the neccessary ingredients to make a good substitute for meat , for example, as k any sports doctor and they wil tell you that the protein in plants are isuffient to repair broken bones in many instances, and the land is available for growing animals and every thing else we need , but different politics and so many different enviormental groups etc, which is certaintly in the minority but are well organized seem to be able to get laws passed thta sometimes are ridiculous and with no research or studys showing the impact on humans or ?? don't misunderstand some of these groups have did a lot of good but some have made a shambles of our country, and most of the time the ones who are yelling the loudest for us to conserve is living out of this world such are Rob Stiner who lives ina 50,000square ft, house , chuffered around in a strech limo, them demands that we who drive a 4 cyl ford or chev, and our houses are 1500 sq, ft, to conserve,?????, if our country and world dosent wake up darned soon we won't have the electricity , food, water, or any thing else for mere survivlal, yes contrary to the so called enviormentalist we have got to keep increasing our production of animals and every thing else or face a situtation that where we the poor people can not survive, the rich will always be able to afford their luxeries,

Wrong direction. Meat production is terribly inefficient in terms of productivity versus resources and space used. Better off going in the direction of plant protein production and population control. Nice little planet for a sustainable population - worthless if we keep breeding like roaches.

It is one way to help. Check out the work Heifer International is doing. They provide animals to countries and allow them to help themselves.
