It would all depend on your lease agreement and the laws of the city and state where you live. It will also depend on if you are single of if you have children living with you. I live in New York and it is not legal for the landlord to move your stuff out. You have to be evicted and the sheriffs department must come out and supervise the moving of your property. I would call your local housing authoroity or the attorney's general office in your state. They can better tell you of your rights.

Your landlord cannot move your stuff. He HAS to give you sn eviction notice before he can do anything. I don't think he is even allowed to do anything to your personal belongings. They are yours. Eventhough he has the right to go into your apartment, or whatever, he cannot do anything that involved you moving or anything of the sort without a notice in writing!!!!
