It definitely cannot. (I am currently writing a book on exactly this subject.) Terrorism is a very insidious sociological disease, and it cannot be overcome on a traditional battlefield. The obsolescence of conventional warfare is not a new idea: it began in earnest in 1945 with the success of the Manhattan Project in New Mexico. Terrorism is an historical development that testifies to also to a lessening strategic viability of conventional warfare.

No, I believe that terrorism can not be defeated by warfare because the heart of the problem is religion. The only resolution would be for the "messiah" to appear.

Intelligence is the only way to defeat terriorism. You ought to be pretty scared with the intelligence of George Bush at the helm.

Absolutely not, warfare is even creating and breeding more terorrists. Revenge and retiliation is human's worst nature.
Invading and destroying nations in the name of vanishing terorism is completely immoral and dumb. Picture of you home being bombed, your full family is killed, only you are alive maybe with your younger sister, you'll hate the people who bombed your family and home, there...u are a terorist, y? because you want justice, you want vengence.
War in the name of terorism is nothing but conspiracy, people who create war over centuries is because of exhaust resource, internat bankruptcy or more area domination.

no it can't be solved by anything b/c not everyone thinks the same way and you can't make someone change the way they think or feel about something or someone.
