I want to buy a maxtor one touch mini hard drive but i can't buy it's power adaptor.i don't know if my usb port suppplies the power needed for it? how can i understand?

not for sure but the first 5 searches for Mactor One Touch Mini all bring up that it is a USB 2.0 compliant device (i.e. no power supply necessary as it gets it from the USB) - but my experience is that external USB devices such as HardDrives require an additional power source so I would be supprised if this one did not (usually USB supplied power is for lower power devices such as a USB jump drive etc...) - recommend you get more details and follow earlier link to Maxtor's website.

Youre probably SOL thinking the records have been probably overwritten. There wasnt plenty element in cloning your force interior the 1st place in the journey that your transportable is a usb gadget through fact the bios wouldnt see it for the time of boot besides.

if it's portable it should hav usb connection.just connect to ur pc usb port.not to worry about power supply for it.
