to that guy speakeasy ..some people will debate and argue over things they have some knowledge about,then there are others.people who will argue over things they no nothing about.first.the muslims of mindinao were muslim before america was british.2 your right, pershing was in the philipines trying to do what? pacify a indigenous people who had no intention of becoming christians.another failed crusade.the enemy was you.not the other way around.there were no philipino muslim armies at your borders.but there were christian crusaders who came with guns and bibles.if you knew your history as the questioner seems to know.america had nothing but good relations with the middle east. maybe you should think about it?

shilo9i, I would like to hear about the problems you seem to know about that America had in the mid-east before the invasion of Palestine by the false State of Israel.
In answer to the question, Fox perptuates the myth of a victimized Israeli people, and the evil fanatical Palestinian devils that live only to mindlessly kill innocent Israelis. Anything that might detract from that party-line will remain conveniently taboo on Fox network.

Watchin Fox news will only keep you confused. They can only be loud, rude and talk so much that some one can't get their point across.But do watch anyway. Once or twice a week for as long as you can stand it. We need to always know what our enemies are up to.

Please don't believe what you watch on fox news. They will take partial facts, combine it with a random theory, and then state it as a fact. That being said, I don't entirely trust CNN/CSPAN either. If you really want to know what the dislike stems from, ask someone from that area of the world. You will get many different answers. The list is too long to include in my answer.

We had Islamist enemies since before Israel existed. General Pershing battled them in the Philippines in 1911. Islamists have been conquering other nations since before America even existed.
Think about it.
Maybe our conflict with them is a result of THEIR foreign policy.

Consider using the internet to gather your facts, as you will be able to find multiple sources for your information gathering. Try the website www.whatreallyhappened.com, the site does just that - no bias, just reporting from news sources you wont find on typical TV channels.
