Dreams can be triggered by media effect, daily activities, news, actual event or desire from your mind including fear. It is a recorder of your subconscious mind playing back what you see, feel in the day time. The projection from your dream could be just a play back or it could imply how you feel psychologically.
There may be some prophetic dreams, but not too many people have that.

Dreams signal to me turmoil in my inner or subconscious. For instance, I have been dreaming a lot that I go around in circles..no matter the details. I feel it is because my life has been stagnant relationship,educational.and career wise. It drives me crazy because I go around and around and never end.

Nothing. Dreams is just your brain taking in everything from that day. It might not be only what you saw, but also what you were thinking and talking about.

they could mean many things. some people view dreams as the what would happen to them in the future. if you have numerous troublesome dreams it could mean that there are unresolved issues going on that coincides with it.

I think my dreams are my mind working overtime in my sleep.. I very rarely have bad dreams.. most of mine are good memories from my past, or things that I want to do....

My dreams are a culmination of my waking life. They are usually about whatever is bugging me coming out when I am asleep because I haven't worked things out.
