I lived in a place where my nearest neighbor was a mile down the dirt road. The nights were so clear I could see every star in the sky. Wind would rock the trees agaist the side of the house and sing me to sleep. And sometimes the rain would play the tin roof like a drum. Now I have to turn on a fan just to sleep at night. I guess the sound soothes me.

The wind is the best when it makes those little funnels that eat up cows and trailer parks.

I don't. It f-ed up my best umbrella yesterday right when I was in the middle of crossing a busy street. It was very embarassing, plus I got soaked.
