I'm could list all the reasons that society would say, especially Western society, that a guy must lose his virginity at a young age, but I'm pretty sure you're not interested in hearing all those reasons.
As for my self, I don't think you're a loser, unless, for you, the importance of losing your virginity is held solely, in the act it's self. It would be, in my opinion, a better thing, to loss ones virginity, while in a loving sharing relationship. It should be a coupling where not only the body is share, but so is the heart, soul and intellect. Anything else is just physicality, and there's no lasting importance in that.
