I really think your question should be, "Who is less bad?", because I don't think either the republican party or the democratic party really cares about the common good of all people. The last humanitarian president was Jimmy Carter (and even he compromised on several issues).
But I'd say the democrats are far less bad, and it seems clear that things were better under Clinton than they are under Bush. People are just scared to get rid of that guy!

The ENTRENCHED two-party system is the worse thing for America at this point in our development... for countless reasons too numerous to go into here. However, if you look at the rest of the industrialized world you will see that their systems make them have to achieve concensus & build REAL "coalitions."
The populace's mentalities in these nations are more apt to be "reflexive & reflective," rather than "oppositional & reactionary" as is predominantly the case in this country. We want simple answers for truely complex & difficult problems, and we also tend to muddle or make artificially complex those otherwise simplistic issues that could easily be resolved! What's our problem? It seems America has political-social psychoses & neuroses that seem to stem from the unending "games" being played out between the republicans & democrats... they both need to be usurped in the power & sway they hold over the American public. In fact, if we are unable to restructure our political system (soon), we will simply implode from within, and the "terrorists" will not have had anything to do with it, as we are, collectively, our "own worst enemy!"

You have to realise that democratics and republicans mean exactly the same in a different language. The first is a greek word and the second is its translation in latin. So, there is no difference between them,is it?

they are both important. even though i call myself a republican, they sometimes try to do things i do not like, then the democrats keep them in check, but also the repulicans do the same for the democrats.

Neither! Both parties are inundated with politicians who are very adept at speaking from both sides of their mouths!

politicians are ALL corrupt. Power money and influence are the true driving factors of these parties, not the welfare of the people they supposedly represent and speak for.
