I took a second Aug. 18 it was positive! The first urine test taken a women is usually 4 weeks pregnant. Two weeks after that Sept 1st I should be six weeks along. I had an ultrasound and the machine which is the most hi-tech ultrasound machine out there measured me at 5 weeks. Where did we lose a week? Has this ever happened to anybody out there?

Your fine... quite honestly, ultrasound measurements are not always accurate.. and every baby grows at a different rate. Either your tech measured wrong or you have a small baby. As long as its still there, your okay.

You always count from the 1st day of your last period, so it sounds like you should be 6 weeks on 9/1, but I would go by what the ultrasound shows. A week off is not a big deal. Congratulation and best wishes for a happy, healthy baby!

Each baby grows at different rates. I usually go by my last normal period and keep my due date at that. My mid term ultrasound has always showed my kids 1-2 weeks ahead...but they come 3 days late.

as much as people want to say you can, there is now way to predict that exact day you would ovulate or start you period. Some many things come into play, such as weight, stress, position of the moon (so I've heard ^.-), other females living with you (the cycles tend to unify), etc. Doctors think they can pin point the exact day but they can not. They can get damned close though.

i became purely 3-a million/2 weeks pregnant as quickly as I have been given a (+) on my being pregnant attempt because of the fact I examined 3 days in the previous I ignored my era. On September twenty seventh you're able to have been 4 weeks and 5 days pregnant. you initiate counting from the 1st day of your final era, so on Sept. 1st you have been seen a million weeks pregnant, then the 8th you have been 2 weeks (it rather is once you in all probability conceived), fifteenth you have been 3 weeks, 22 you have been 4 weeks, and twenty ninth you have been 5 weeks. Congratulations, you're so close now!!
