Yep. The funny thing about swimming while having your period is that will be no leakage. The reason why there won't be any leakage lies in physics. The pressure of the water in the swimming pool is greater than the pressure of the blood that wants to leak out. So, the water in the swimming pool goes into the body. Hence no leakage. However if there is any leakage, it would go undetected because the amount of leakage is minuscule compared to the volume of the swimming pool. Draw yourself a bath and sit in it. See what happens.

Yes, it is safe to go swimming.
However, wear a tampon.
A lot of local pools do not recommend it since tampons leak. I need to find that site for our local area. A study was done on our local area and it is gross to find how gross community pools can be since people ur.inate in it, swim while on period and in cases of young children: p.oop in it. Reason why I don't like to swim at community pools. The gym pool is regulated due to health offical code due to this research finding. If caught, membership will re revoked from all local gyms and fined for it.

To be truthful i don't bypass swimming, i won't swim, yet i will inform you precise now that tampons aren’t as stable as human beings say, i will assure you that each and each guy or woman right here who mentioned tampons could be changing their music in the event that they understood how disgusting and unsafe tampons are. Blood and tissue rotting interior your physique with all varieties of chemical compounds and micro organism interior the tampon and no thank you to your vagina to scrub all of it out – GROSS! supply rather’s a bypass, they seem to be a variety of cup so as that they are secure and can be worn for an prolonged time in spite of a heavy era, you may get those at maximum shops now and are plenty extra suited than tampons

They told us, years ago, that your flow stopped when you were in the water. That's been my experience. When I'm in the bath, my flow stops, and I've never had a problem in the swimming pool either. You could sit in the bathtub and see if that's true.
I'm open to feedback on this topic. Of course, when one is not in the water, that's different. So, yes, a tampon.

Yes, I do it all the time, and so do many other women. I would suggest using a tampon though. I really cant say that I have ever heard, or even been told by my OBGYN not to. If it would help you feel better about it, ask a Doctor, or a nurse. They should help to put your mind at ease.

Yes it is. Nothing will happen. Just make sure that you use the correct absorbancy tampon so that you don't leak! Pads are highly NOT recommended for use when swimming. They're bulky and can float their way out.

Yup, just use a tampon. Make sure you use the right tampon as well. If you have a heavy flow, make sure you check it frequently. If you're in a pool chances are the chlorine content is high enough that even a trace amount of menstrual blood won't matter. It won't be seen, and it won't make others sick.

I live right next to the gorgous sh*t brown waters of the gulf in Galveston, TX. The water itself won't hurt anything. HOWEVER!!! In the ocean there are sharks and sharks love blood so you would be there first target. in clear water I'd where a tampon that way you do not have a red trail following you.
